If you know me, and if you don’t, I love a hot drink in my hand. Typical English tea or a creamy latte; I’m all about squishing myself into the corner of my sofa with a warm mug of the good stuff, or grasping on to one at my work desk to keep zen. It’s wouldn’t be a normal day without such an occasion taking place throughout. You can’t just have any old “container” though. It’s got to be dandy.
Doris & Co Mugs.
Each mug is super sturdy, reliable, and ultimately twee, which in turn makes them the immediate choice for an enjoyable cup of tea (totally fluked that one, Shakespeare). I love the “Ye Olde Worlde” designs with the quirky quotes – so fun – so when I found out that there was now a CHRISTMAS EDITION…well that was it. I’m pawing for it.
Each Doris mug comes beautifully packaged in a super high quality branded box, with decorative paper stuffing, and a surprise tea bag waiting for you to get that kettle on that little bit sooner than you originally planned.
Keeping to true Doris styling, the Christmas mugs display a really cute, vintage looking Santa Claus reading a story to two little children with a kitty at the side, no less. Beautiful colour tones and printing, I just can’t get enough.
What I also enjoy about Doris’ mugs myself, is the actual design of the base. It’s almost like the mugs have their own little pedestal with a thicker outer rim to support the precious contents. It just gives the whole thing more decadence and weight to it. What a gorgeous little show off Dotty is! Not only that, but these “standard Doris Mugs” hold half a pint!
Have A Cosy Christmas
